Timeline Shifting, sometimes called Reality Shifting, isn’t a fantasy world, it’s a fact of life. On the other hand, consciously experiencing it and knowing this to be true is a choice.
You get to believe whatever you want to, and then find proof of what you believe. We are timeline shifting all the time, and the question is, what timeline would you like to experience? For our well-trained scientific minds, you’ll find the timeline theories in theoretical physics. One example is the Many-worlds theory, involving a universal wavefunction that allows all possible outcomes to exist. Another is the Parallel universe theory, a group of multiple universes that include everything that exists, including time. Science puts timelines in layers, threading out time in a horizontal line as we usually think of it: left to right, past to future. Imagine infinite lines running parallel to that line, above and below it, sometimes so closely connected the difference is almost indistinguishable. A little shift, like changing lanes on the freeway, and you’ve switched timelines, even when you’re headed in the same direction. Life could look different even from that one lane shift. It could be little changes, like a different viewpoint of the scenery, or big changes, like missing the nail in the road that would have given you a flat tire, just missing a car accident, or changing an exit only lane, taking you off the freeway entirely. Reality Shifting has become popular on TikTok, where you’ll find various methods to do your own reality shifting. This is cool and all, and a little more in the realm of Harry Potter. I love Harry Potter, and the realm of magic. However, what if magic isn’t outside our grasp? What if it’s the nature of who we really are, so natural in fact, it’s been hiding in plain sight because it feels so normal? What if we don’t need fancy practices or rituals to shift timelines? Imagine that every choice you make potentially puts you on a different timeline. This switch not only shifts the present and future, but the past. Sure, when your memory shifts, you could chalk it up to a bad memory. Memory is a funny thing, as cognitive science has found. Memories constantly change, shifting ever so slightly every time we remember something from the past. So what’s really going on here? What if it’s all being created now, constantly changing? If everything is consciousness, we shift as our consciousness shifts. Of course, we can also put on re-play anything we want, anything we believe is not able to change. Relax about this my friends because we are well-trained and habituated to the re-play. Facts are created from it, and we must solidify reality and time in order to understand and function well in this physical world. We all have many limitations, ones that are hard-pressed to release, such as gravity or aging. While I am open to the possibility that I can fly or reverse age, I am aware my beliefs, ones that are historically and scientifically proven, have me pretty solidly convinced otherwise. SIGNS OF TIMELINE SHIFTING There are just a few signs of timeline shifting, if you pay attention. These include: VERTIGO – I’m not one to have experienced a lot of vertigo, but it does occur, even in this past week. I’ll be going throughout my day, and then be “off balance”, as if pulled to the right or the left. SPATIAL DISORIENTATION – This can show in many ways, all shifting a sense of your body in relation to the external world. You might feel lighter, heavier, bigger or smaller. SPACING OUT – Where was I? When I was a kid in about 3rd grade, I used to have to take a note home from the teacher saying if I was daydreaming or not. This could be literally going somewhere else, including that infinite space where all time exists now and timelines shift in that moment. A SUDDEN PHYSICALLY FELT SHIFT IN TIMELINE – It’s almost a sensation of being physically moved and settle into a new timeline, like your body is suddenly shifted or placed to the left or right, into a new space. DIFFERENT MEMORIES THAN OTHERS – I’m talking about distinctly remembering a recent conversation or event, say just earlier that day or the days previously, that the other person insists they didn’t experience. This isn’t about the other person simply not having your attention while you were talking. FACTS CHANGING FROM THE PAST – This one has prompted me to write this blog. In the past week, it has been occurring more often. It’s especially confirming when another person has the same experience. I’m doing a training right now that I did two years ago. In the first session, something was discussed that I never heard of before. I went back to my handouts and notes from the previous training, and it was all there, with diagrams to boot. How could I not have remembered that? Furthermore, working with clients in the past, I did not include that material in the sessions. Yet there it was now, on my computer from two years ago. I spoke with someone else in the current training who also had no memory of learning that information until now. When you have someone in your life with the same experience, it’s harder to argue against it! Just last Saturday, I had a call to go on in the morning. The date had been on my calendar and in my email for weeks, plain as day. When I went to connect to Zoom, there wasn’t a link. I saw the date for the call: November 27th. I went to my calendar, which I had just been on earlier that morning and there it was now, for November 27th not November 20th. Going back to that experience in my recent training: I’m sure you’ve had the experience of hearing or noticing something for the first time, one of those “aha” insights, and a loved one might tell you they’ve said it to you many times. We can only take in what is at the level of consciousness we are operating at. Remember, everything is consciousness, including timelines. Shift your consciousness and you’ll see, understand and experience everything differently, aka, be on a different timeline. Of course, you are not a bubble. However, you do have free will. The idea of a holographic universe, where the tiniest grain of sand has in it the entire universe, is true of YOU. This also means you have all potentialities inside of you. The whole affects you, but you also affect the whole. CHANGES IN PEOPLE, EVENTS, HOW YOU EXPERIENCE THE WORLD – This one is of great variety, but its tell-tale sign is how you experience reality. Reality literally shifts in the blink of an eye. You could be in a situation that is at a standstill, say, looking for a new job. You’ve exhausted your possibilities, and even have met people in that industry who say how hard it is to work in, how limited the jobs are, how little money you make. Suddenly, an opportunity arises, an avenue that wasn’t there before, resources, and people in that industry who love and thrive in their careers. These types of changes happen all the time. We’re used to calling it “waking up on the wrong side of the bed”, where it’s one thing after another that goes wrong that day or is stressful. However, these shifts are literal timeline shifts, whereby if we shift our consciousness to more uplifted states, the external shifts as well, where a bad day can shift to a day where communication flows more easily, possibilities open up, synchronicites occur, and we see things in a more positive light. HOW TO SHIFT TIMELINES We all want to have the “how-to” guides. What I want you to know is that you are already doing this. When it comes to the ascension, awakening, and creating New Earth conversations, this is about becoming conscious, awake and aware of our true divine nature and a greater reality. We choose to expand beyond the limits of this physical reality, and the limits created that keep us asleep, separate, in survival, fear, doubt and lack. Shifting timelines means shifting consciousness. This means where your attention and focus are. Once you decide something is a fact, so it is. While there are strong collective agreements in our world, you can go beyond them. YOU make a difference in shifting not only your timeline, but the collectives. You could think of it as the Butterfly Effect. Everything is connected, and you shift the entire world by shifting your own reality. Use your natural ability to notice your own thoughts, judgments, beliefs, limitations and feelings. Then, you have choice in changing your perspective and timeline. For example, you want more abundance, look to all the abundance that is already there, bask in the gratitude of all you have, expanding your abundance by your choice to see more of it. Shifting timelines isn’t about controlling our reality. It’s about an internal shift of vibration, of energy, which is what everything in the universe if made of. If you’re focusing and finding all the problems, the lack, the, “This can’t possibly change or I can’t have X because of all these reasons,” then you’ve chosen that timeline. Timelines exist because of the state of consciousness you are in at any given moment. You’ll see and experience what you are able to depending on your state of consciousness. Use your imagination to see the best possible outcome, your dreams fulfilled, the Earth thriving, all people cared for a loved, all of this already done. That’s all you need do, and things shift to accommodate: inspired ideas and action steps, synchronicities, or resources. Use your imagination to see the worst possible outcome, and you’ll see all the pain, suffering, limitations, lack and roadblocks. We already do this, so why not focus on what you want, rather than what you don’t want? When you shift internally to uplifted states of consciousness, unconditional states of being not dependent on external circumstances, such as trust, joy, peace, gratitude, or love, you can shift timelines and move mountains. Considering the possibility that time is not fixed and that the past itself is constantly shifting depending on which timeline we are in in the moment, opens your mind. Opening your mind means relaxing enough to then allow your soul, Magical Divine You, to guide your life. When each of us does this more and more, we shift timelines for the entire planet. Ever since I can remember, the 1980’s and even before, there have been great threats to the survival of the planet and humanity. There have been timelines created about global warming and other life-threatening problems that at this point should have already occurred. But here we are! Open your mind to all possibilities, and not only is life more fun, but you also assist in the vibrant well-being of the entire planet. This is so natural it’s almost a cosmic joke. We’ve been running around trying to solve and fix all these problems we keep finding. All along, we’ve had in ourselves the ability, the response-ability, to shift everything in a moment, including time. “TWINNING EARTH” AND BEING WITH OTHERS WHEN THEY ARE ON DIFFERENT TIMELINES The idea of a twinning earth, where some will choose to stay in a denser reality and other go in to “New Earth” isn’t something you need to worry about. Do you ever notice how others you know already experience reality quite differently from you? Remember how I talked about being on the freeway and switching lanes? You may have loved ones, or watch the news, and witness how what others are experiencing as reality is very different than what you are experiencing. Timelines can exist so close to each other that they are indistinguishable to the untrained eye. So, while you may live with a loved one and see them every day, they may be experiencing quite a different timeline from you. Theirs is wrought with rude, mean people, terrible things happening on the planet. Yet your experience might be of kind people, good deeds, beauty, flow and abundance. It’s not your job to try to change anyone else’s reality. You can be the loving presence, allowing them their path, for the path they are on IS real and true for them. Comparing your experience to others is always a lose in some way. So instead, focus on your own experience of reality. You always have choice to change lanes! While we all may be experiencing a different timeline of sorts, this separation is an illusion, needed so that we can experience this amazing physical life and world. Our choices DO affect the whole, and each time you choose a perspective that is uplifting and serves the All, it truly does affect the All. You create new lanes, new paths and roads, new options for All beings.

There’s a saying in the community I lived in, “Fun is the goal, Love is the Way”. Fun could also be called joy or happiness. While there are things that might reliably be fun in the moment, happiness and joy are not dependent upon what’s happening in the external. When they are, we predictably swing in and out of joy. And hey, that’s okay too, if you let yourself enjoy the ride!
Lately I’ve noticed myself getting a little too serious. Like, “I’ve got a mission to fulfill and things to do, and I don’t see joy and fun in this equation.” This can be especially true in “spiritual practices”, starting from the traditional seriousness I experienced during Sunday Mass in my Catholic upbringing. That’s just mistaking sacred experience with dogma. Recently, we were at the Grand Canyon for sunrise. At a lookout point, everyone was quiet and kind to each other. As someone moved out of my way so I could take a photo, I noticed we whispered to each other. I wondered aloud, “Why are we all whispering?” and we laughed. We whispered because this was a sacred moment. It was also fun, especially with our doggie with us who just loves to be pet by strangers. I thought about how serious we can get when it comes to spirituality, be it church, meditation, yoga or other sacred rituals. Honoring the sacred doesn’t have to be serious business. It can be sweet, fun, and filled with smiles and laughter. When spiritual practices, self-awareness and growth become a serious task, maybe it’s time to switch gears. Even “fun” creative endeavors like making art or music can become a “should”. As a fitness instructor, I found people wanted to know the best types of exercises for their goals. The answer: the one you’ll actually do, AKA, actually enjoy. Going toward fun isn’t really the norm in our society unless it’s a reward for working hard. If you’re not suffering in order to earn that fun “time off”, it’s irresponsible to just spend your time having fun. You have more important things to do. Luckily, the universe is always on our side, and if we notice that, we’ll see all the resources and support around us to go for fun and happiness if that’s something we want more of. What do you want more of? You get to say, and your form of happiness, fun, joy or whatever you are wanting, is unique to you. If you see someone else with something you’d like more of, you can celebrate that you are seeing that in your reality and say, as Rev Ike would, “That’s for me!” As I noticed my own seriousness, and the broken record pushing me to do “more, better, different”, I followed little nudges from the Universe in a different direction. Two main things showed up for me: to say, “Today, I choose to be happy,” and then to focus my attention on the good that day, and all the things I am grateful for. Here’s the cool thing: in focusing on the good, the challenges also become good. They become guides, teachers, reminders and growth opportunities. Pretty cool! I got to see that doing anything because I think I should isn’t reason enough to do it, or at least not reason enough to enjoy it. Instead, I looked for things that I could say yes to, like putting on Holiday music. I love Christmas! I love Christmas because it is a time that is magical, adorable, sweet, fun, love and joy filled. Sure, we have our reasons for choosing this time of year for this, be it Christian, Jewish, Pagan, etc., but really, for those of us that love this time of year, we just say, “Yes! I choose fun and love and joy!” Saying yes to MY style of fun, to what uplifts ME, is most important. AND, this is subject to change! You might have something you do habitually as your form of upliftment. Maybe it’s journaling, a gratitude practice, a service or volunteer work, yoga, drawing, watching comedies, or meditation. These are all truly awesome, AND, are they uplifting you RIGHT NOW? It’s okay to change! It’s okay to try something different! Today you might thrive with something different or new, even if it’s uncomfortable at first to drop the habit you’ve built for now and go for the new and unknown. I love to dance, walk the dog and connect with nature, journal, and do a lot of various spiritual practices. Sometimes, I’ll force myself to dance, or think I should always love walking the dog. What I’ve notice is that I don’t have to force anything! Sure, I walk the dog regardless, even if it’s a shorter walk. AND, it’s okay to move my body in other ways and throw the ball for the dog to get his exercise in. I know that there are plenty of sayings out there like, “Do what you love,” or “Follow your heart.” I also know that going in the direction of fun and joy can look like the most irresponsible and even dangerous thing you could choose to do. Here’s the thing: this is a consciousness game, not dependent on outer circumstances. It’s the awakening to the fact that you are a spirit in this physical body and have complete choice in how you experience and interpret your reality. Again I ask you, “What do you want more of?” This begins by letting yourself be totally honest about what you want, your dreams and visions. Just because you have a dream and look around and see “I’m not there, and can’t see how to get there,” doesn’t mean you stop dreaming. You start where you are. If it is a physical external thing, get to the root of the actual quality of that item or experience. This could be something like: freedom, trust, love, joy, fun, connection, intimacy, community, love, abundance, prosperity, peace, magic, clarity, happiness or flow. Then say, “Yes!” to it by declaring when you wake up, “Today I choose to be….!” No matter what occurs, no matter what you need to do that day, look for the good. Look for that quality and bask in the gratitude of seeing it! Because you ARE those qualities, those states of being. YOU are the creator. AND, are the co-creator, this entire reality and universe conspiring with you to put into physical form ANYTHING you choose to believe is possible. It’s time to put into practice what you WANT and look for it all around you and inside you. This includes EVERYTHING that you choose to do. You might have a list of the things you “have” to do. The question is, “Why are you doing this?” What is motivating you to do this, be it washing the dishes, paying the bills, or driving in traffic to work. There IS something you are getting out of your choices that is important to you, and you can choose to look for that positive quality. Even in the “bad” choices, like eating something you know isn’t healthiest for your body, there IS something you are seeking and getting from that experience. If you can say YES to what you are wanting from that experience (such as comfort, peace, relaxation, pleasure), then you are now focusing on having more of that experience instead of making yourself wrong for the way in which you were choosing to experience it (like through food). What a sweeter, nicer way to treat yourself and what you need and want, yes? What you focus on you truly get more of, so as you focus on seeing what you really want or need in the moment, instead of judging yourself or your actions, the universe will provide you the inspiration, clarity, little actions steps, resources, and opportunities for more of what you are focusing on and looking for. You already are an expert at seeing all the things that are bad and wrong about yourself and reality. We’ve got that one down, check. Time to get out of the comfort and predictability of the habit of the pain and go for saying YES to delicious, light-filled true Divine YOU and your heart’s desire, exactly as you are and are not RIGHT NOW! What is an I AM Command?
You could call it an affirmation, a decree, a statement, or a command. For me, “command” is powerful because it calls to the forefront my response-ability to shift my perspective and experience of myself and life in any moment. It is a state of being and knowing. Some say affirmations don’t work. There is only one reason for this, and it is our own doubt. You can say, “I Am Abundance,” a million times, but then you have also the reasoning and emotional response that comes with it, you have given your power away. This could sound like, “I don’t have enough money to pay for xyz, I don’t have enough time for xyz, I don’t really deserve it, There isn’t enough of xyz and the news says so, it’s not possible, and the experts say so, I’ve been hurt so many times in the past that I don’t really think there’s the type of partner I want out there…” The list can go on, in all areas of your life. I think you get the idea! The good news: LOVE is the most powerful force in the universe, stronger than your doubt. I AM is a prayer. Gregg Braden has talked about types of prayer, one being a felt present moment experience of the wanted manifestation. Praying for rain becomes “praying rain”: feeling the wet soil beneath your feet and the rain on your face, smelling the air, and being filled with gratitude for the rain here and now, in the present moment. I AM means God In Action. God In Action is YOU, the one with a body, a mind, and emotions. You are not your experiences or your personality. YOU are having those experiences in this beautiful body that allows you to be alive on this planet, God in Action! When you state, “I AM”, you are calling forth the Divine, God, Source, call it what you will, as the Driver of your life, the Commander of your ship. You are remembering, awakening, to your authentic Self. I AM is stated not from wishing, not from begging, but from your heart, with your sincerity. I AM is self-sustaining, not dependent on any outer experience, for Source is, was and all-ways has been. It is not outside you, not something outside you that will save you or fix things for you. God is unconditionally loving, and the Universe supports any experience you wish to have, for every experience is filled with the opportunity to love more than ever before. When you “Take the Command”, for example, “I AM Abundance,” you are claiming YOUR Mastery, meaning your response-ability of your God-Given free will to play this game of life and perceive your experiences in any way you choose. How often and in how many ways have we given our power away to others? To our Mom and Dad, to our teachers, to the experts, to money, to time…. Yes, when we were children, we depended on our parents to teach us, to care for us. Now we are the parents. We parent ourselves through the power and uplifted perspective of our I AM Presence. This is our true divine nature, that in ALL WAYS is connected, and in fact One with, God Source. We love, unconditionally and with great compassion, the part of ourselves that has been hurt, that is afraid, that is angry, that has been betrayed, that is so intelligent it can talk ourselves out of believing that joy is our birthright and that miracles are natural. Again, we COMMAND because we have free will. Our authentic selves, our “Higher Self”, is happy to let the fearful and doubtful part of us run the show. This is because it knows the higher game afoot, and that all is unfolding truly perfectly. Dear one, we have come to a point in our evolution that it is time to wake up more than ever before. Yes, we continue this unending beautiful evolution, AND NOW it is the time to claim our ability to create a world of abundance, care, love, compassion, unity and vibrant well-being for ALL. This starts with you, for you! As you take the command, “I AM,” with great sincerity yet with relaxed ease, miracles happen. We command, yet we surrender our habit of trying to control anything. All that’s necessary is your loving sincerity, including your sincere desire to trust yourself, trust life, and trust the Universe. Little you, the one trying to control your life and the world, seeking to fix all the problems, is not the one taking the command. Remember this when you might think, “Who am I to command life?” Good question, “Who Am I?”, yes? Unraveling the training that God is outside you, that you are not Divine, less than a beautiful powerful spark of divinity that has separated so far from its Source that it forgot who it is, and to use that forgetting to insert love and compassion more than ever before, is a good place to start. Divine You, the one that is ONE with Source and all creation, the one who loves all of you and all of life exactly as it is and is not, is the Commander. I AM…God In Action. Self-sustaining, it cannot be shifted by any judgment, any external experience. You are safe in this peace-filled eternal Presence, knowing that this game of life is temporary, always changing. Yet within you, the truth of who you really are, is the Eternal. Now, go forth with your affirmations, your visualizations, with the power of I AM! Place your hands on your heart and take some relaxing breaths. Magic and miracles are natural! How will you know if you’re experiencing that power? You may notice ease, presence, peace, gratitude, joy, love, bubble up. Nothing to force, nothing to try harder to make happen. Let it be with ease. For it is only little you trying to make anything happen or do it right. Again, your loving sincerity and practice is all that’s necessary! by Julianne Kulosa The powerful energy presenting now is very supportive in our ascension process. It can be used to propel us into greater states of ease, flow, peace, gratitude, trust, abundance and well-being. However, it is a propelling energy, and therefore can be used to go deeper into the density of fear, anger, helplessness and anxiety. Therefore this time is calling us to choose powerfully, moment by moment. It matters not what is occurring in your reality. What matters is your interpretation of any events, internal or external, that are happening now. It is your divinely given freedom and power to choose the reality you wish to live in. Why are things challenging, filled with pain or loss, such fear, anger, hate or abuse? These things are experienced to propel you to choose a different reality. This is done with your consciousness: your ability to choose and interpret the reality you live in. Science says observation, concrete measurable repeatable observation, shows us reality. However, it is the observer and where their attention is, what their expectations and beliefs are, that create that reality. This has been shown time and again by the placebo effect as well as experiments in which the experimenter has a theory or hypothesis and the results of that experiment depend on the outcome the experimenter expects to see. We think our beliefs are based on evidence, but the truth is, we believe something and then gather the evidence to back the belief. Seek and ye shall find, and, just to make the game more challenging, in this time there are a lot of false and partial truths to gather as your "evidence". Within you is your ability to use spiritual discernment to find Divine Truth, one of connection, unity, love and abundance for all. Right now, use your power of choice to look for, see and feel the reality you wish to live in. Dig into how you want to experience reality. How you want to feel. Instead of goals, such as no physical illness or more money, focus on your state of being, such as vibrant health and abundance. Keep your eyes on the divine at all times, and in truth, you will experience those high vibe New Earth states, no matter the circumstance. Let the rest wash over you, give it to Source, thanking it for propelling you to choose higher vibrational thoughts and emotions. Love is the call, and with it, compassion and forgiveness. That compassion will soften your view, allowing you to more easily access peace and trust. Things stay around as long as they need to and we truly are all doing the best we can, so be compassionate with yourself and others. This is time of great empowerment and awakening, of magic and miracles, and can truly be used to create the reality and world you wish to live in. Imagine the future you are living into and feel it right here, right now. This is the call, and when you feel the density inside pulling you down, you can say, “Aha, thank you! I choose love, I choose trust, I choose…” Choose to put your attention on what you want rather than what you don’t want, and as you do so, you transform the world into a better place for All, assisting all willing hearts to awaken into the truth of reality and who they are. This is not complicated, though our minds like to make things quite complex. Your heart knows the way. Breathe into your heart, your full attention in your heart, and call forth what you are wanting, be it ease, peace, connection or support. Here is a simple technique from HeartMath you can use anytime you’re experiencing those stressful feelings and reactions. by Julianne Kulosa Affirmations became popular in the late 1980’s with Louise Hay’s book, “You Can Heal Your Life”. Over time, they, and the New Age Movement, have gotten a pretty bad rap.
Affirmations are often considered wishful thinking at best, or at worst, a lazy person’s way to try to create what they want while sitting on the couch and taking no action out in the world. What are Affirmations? They are repeated thoughts, statements and proclamations. Often defined as “positive”, the truth is, any repeated thought, word, or mantra is an affirmation. Your Subconscious There’s a reason things might not seem to go the way you want them too, despite your best efforts. It’s called your subconscious programming, aka The Matrix. Operating out of your conscious awareness, this programming was created when you were a child. You learned, by watching others, how to think, feel, behave and understand your world. The brain waves of children are in a lower frequency of consciousness, meaning the electrical activity patterns recorded in the EEG. From about age two to six, children are predominantly in a Theta brain wave state, which can be likened to hypnosis. This means children, with wide open imaginations, are in a superior learning state and highly open to suggestion. As adults, we spend a vast majority of our days (some say up to 98%) operating from subconscious patterns. These deeply engrained habits and beliefs about ourselves and the world can easily trump a positive thought here and there. HOWEVER, there are ways we can shift these automatic ways of being, one being through creating new conscious habits. How do you know your subconscious is running the show? Take a look at any area of your life where you feel stuck or powerless, where despite your best efforts, you keep seeming to do the same thing, experiencing the same things, over and over. The Power of Conscious Choice Affirmations are like any new habit or learning experience. With repetition, the brain is re-wired. How long will it take? Well, you might want to create an affirmation around that, such as, “All is unfolding at the perfect time for my highest good,” or “I trust the process of life,” because if you’ve found yourself often feeling you need to hurry up and get somewhere, and there’s something wrong with you if you’re not there yet, there’s a good chance that’s some of your subconscious programming. Good to notice! Have faith and patience with your affirmations. Ideally, set aside specific time every day to repeat those affirmations. There are plenty to go around if you’re looking for inspiration, and any words can be used as a mantra during meditation. Shirts, plaques around the house and sticky notes are awesome, but how often do you actually see and say the words aloud or silently? Purposefully repeating those affirmations daily will benefit you most. While you might choose a general affirmation to repeat silently, aloud, to yourself in the mirror or to write in journal such as, “I love you,” “All is Well,” or “I am grateful for…,” consider starting to pay more attention to those areas you are feeling stuck. What are most common statements and viewpoints that keep repeating in that area when you notice your thoughts? You can counter those with their opposite, even if at first you might just state, “It’s possible…” No, you don’t have to believe it at first. You might start with just being open to the possibility. Just repeat, repeat and repeat again. We learn through practice and repetition. Would it be so horrible to repeat consciously for the rest of your life, “I am abundant,” “I am safe and loved,” or “I trust life and the universe”? The worst that could happen is that you notice all the thoughts and beliefs that insist the opposite is true. That noticing gives you power to choose again. What world do you want to live in? Any positive affirmation is great. A change in one area shifts the whole, so you don’t have to choose 20 affirmations to do a day or feel overwhelmed. An affirmation is not a lazy way to produce change. It is an assertion or declaration about something, and it will affect your choices, actions and responses in the world. Your choosing to habitually state, imagine and feel in present moment terms (“I am” as compared to “I will”) really can assist you in waking up out of the illusion and limitations of the Matrix. Affirmations are a powerful tool to use in your spiritual awakening process. They aren’t “shoulds” or “have to’s”, but rather a great option, should you be drawn to use them, as you awaken in your unique and perfect way. Photo by Daiga Ellaby on Unsplash by Julianne Kulosa I’m walking the dog on a beautiful morning in our neighborhood, noticing the flowers vibrating and singing, and the trees so calming and grounded. I ask Mother Earth, “How may I serve you?” I look up and see a mother walking toward me with her child in a stroller. Her shirt says, “Believe In Miracles.”
Really? Yes, really! Mother Earth, Gaia, a beloved powerful conscious being who takes such nurturing care of us, said to believe in miracles! For me, this means to believe in the power of our conscious choice to see, feel, think and act in a way that is New Earth. Our consciousness creates miracles. When we align and are willing to merge with New Earth, with the divine nature of Gaia, Life and Source, anything is possible. Truly. We are miracle makers, we unique humans. The nature of the universe is miraculous, and what makes us unique is our free will choice to be a part of those miracles, or not. It’s easy to underestimate human potential, given the old paradigm of reality. When we open up to the truth that we are multi-dimensional beings fully connected to everything, we open to unlimited possibilities of what we can create. The birds and trees already live in unity consciousness. They are part of the web of creation, yet their design is different than we humans. They don’t need to consciously “create” anything, for they are fully in the present moment flow of the universe. We, on the other hand, have that choice point in each moment to live in whatever reality we choose to place our consciousness in. Sure, sounds simple, but you know how challenging this can be with our personal and collective beliefs about what reality is, painful memories, and the evidence in our current reality that says otherwise. Believe in Miracles. This means aligning with possibility. The possibility that you or your loved one is already healed and fully healthy NOW. The possibility that the oceans are clean and purified now. The possibility that all children are cared for, bellies full and deeply loved now. The possibility that there is unlimited abundance, an abundance of resources for all, right now. Mother Earth knows how the game is played, and she is patiently assisting us and holding space for our evolution and remembering. When we align our thoughts and emotions with a possibility we experience as manifest here and now, miracles occur. We can shift in an instant. The world can shift in an instant. Be open to magic and miracles, not as some mystical experience something outside yourself is creating nor as something you alone create, but as Magical Divine You aligning and merging with pure divine Source. It’s time to practice and trust this feeling-based technology inside us. We create miracles as we feel, see, be, and then act in this now moment the change we wish to see in the world. Losing an item can be very frustrating and stressful. Luckily, there are ways to increase your chances of finding a lost object.
1. Re-frame from lost or stolen to misplaced. A lost or stolen object implies that the item is either gone forever or will be extremely challenging to find. Rather than thinking of the item as lost, consider that it is simply misplaced. 2. Begin by relaxing and trusting your intuition. It may seem that time is your enemy, especially if you can’t find your car keys and are already running late. However, desperately and frantically looking for your keys could take longer than the time it takes to relax before beginning your search. Make yourself some tea, get out in nature, or just take some slow deep breaths to kick in the relaxation response. Now that you are relaxed, your mind is clearer and your intuition is heightened. Ask yourself about the object. Is it in your immediate vicinity? Can you see yourself with it the last time you used it? You may think I’m crazy, but there has been more than once that I’ve misplaced my wallet or a credit card and chose not report any credit cards as stolen. This is because I knew intuitively that the card was somewhere in my house. One time I didn’t retrieve my ATM card for over a week, probably because I didn’t even look for it, trusting and knowing it was somewhere safe in my home (which it was), and I’d find it when I needed it. Your intuition might prompt you to report that card stolen, and if so, trust that and make that phone call. 3. Use your powerful intention and expect to retrieve your belonging. Focusing clearly on what you want with a calm expectation that you will have it puts aside, and can even alleviate, any fears around losing an item. In my youth, a friend and I were mugged. I put up a good fight (probably not the smartest move), as the mugger and I played tug-of-war with my purse. The strap broke, and he won. My friend went along with my crazy idea to retrieve my purse. I was determined, knowing I would find the purse, and was ok with the cash missing but wanted at least the other items. Looking in nearby allies, I soon found my purse, and yes, with the cash missing. Recently, a friend had lost her wallet and assumed it was gone forever. I told her the above story, along with others. She lit up at the possibility. When I saw her the next week, she had found her wallet! However, hers also contained her cash. She said she decided she wanted to find all the contents of her wallet, including the cash. Where was her wallet? When going to pay for a meal at a restaurant she regularly goes to, the person behind the counter asked her if she had lost her wallet, recognizing her from her driver’s license. She handed her the wallet, with all cards and cash intact. 4. Be open to magic and miracles. Your mind assists you by being logical and scientifically predictive (based on past experience) regarding how any future events will unfold. Rather than getting trapped into limited possibilities, you can be open to magic and miracles. Expect the unexpected! Long ago, my mother, grandmother and I were visiting Vermont. After a nice dinner out, we returned to our hotel room, where my mother realized she had lost her $100 bill that she had stuffed in her boot for emergencies. She was certain that the money was gone forever. Using principle #3, I knew I could retrieve her money. I went alone in the rental car (not wanting my mom’s bad vibes with me – sorry mom, I was young…) back to the restaurant, absolutely certain and excited that I would find her money. I looked all around and under the table we ate at, the surrounding tables, and asked our waitress if she had seen it. I did not find the $100 bill. I left the restaurant feeling confused, standing in the parking lot with my mind not understanding how it could be possible that I did not find her money. Just then, a man exited the restaurant and called to me, “Excuse me, is this what you’re looking for?” In his hand waved a $100 bill. He said, “You were looking in the wrong area!” I surprised him with a big hug, thanked him, and went home with deep joy and gratitude. 5. Trust in the goodness of others. In the above stories in #3 and #4, the man at the restaurant and the woman behind the counter both did not have to return those items. While the news may report primarily all the bad in the world, there is actually much more good happening every day than bad. Open your heart to the goodness of the human spirit. Remember you can always reach out for assistance. Where would you return an object you found? The police department? The front desk of an establishment? Post it on Nextdoor.com? Lost and found is a common place in most businesses because more often than not, someone who finds an object will want it returned to its owner. 6. Take a break. Nothing can better halt your success in finding a misplaced item than your stress, agitation, frustration and anxiety. Stress can make our minds cloudy and we can literally even be blind to seeing an object that’s right in front of us. Take a break, get your mind off looking for the object and relax. While camping with a large group of people, a friend lost his car keys. He looked frantically everywhere he could think of. After about an hour of searching, everyone knew he was missing his keys, and a search party ensued as both adults and children hunted. I suggested he stop searching and take a break, knowing his keys would be found. He was particularly stressed because if he didn’t find his keys, he would have to ask his wife to make the two and a half hour drive to bring the spares. He finally decided to go call his wife on a landline to forewarn her of the possibility, as there was no cell reception where we were camping. I realized that while he might have thought he was simply going to call his wife, he was actually taking the break I knew he needed. Once he returned to camp, he looked one more time, almost immediately finding his keys in a pocket of a pair of pants he had forgotten he wore the night before! 7. Call on Archangel Chamuel or St. Anthony You always have allies in the unseen world. They stand by to assist you if you ask. Both Archangel Chamuel and St. Anthony have been used to find not just missing objects, but also missing loved ones and pets, reconciliation of relationships, restoration of health, and finding a new job. Archangel Chamuel Chamuel is the angel of love. He is particularly helpful in relationships, assisting to strengthen your heart and pure love connection with others, yourself, and your body. Because of this, Archangel Chamuel can assist you in finding lost objects, for you also have a relationship with that object. Call on Archangel Chamuel to bring his heart-centered pink light to your situation. Ask him to assist you in releasing the ties of fear and loss you have around your missing object. As he helps you to come into your heart and calmly trust your situation, the light of unconditional love can then shine onto your object, allowing you to re-connect with it with grace and ease. St. Anthony of Padua St. Anthony is the patron saint of lost and stolen items. Saints are people who were deemed by the Catholic Church to have been extraordinarily holy and virtuous during their life and now reside in heaven. Saints often have stories of miracles they performed during their lifetime, and St. Anthony is no exception. The particular reason St. Anthony is Patron of Lost Items can be traced to a time he was teaching at a Franciscan friary in Bologna, France. St. Anthony had a book of psalms, or “psalter”, that was both valuable as well as filled with important notes and comments he wrote in it to use in his teaching. A student who was growing tired of the religious life decided to leave the friary. When he did, he also stole St. Anthony’s psalter. St. Anthony prayed that it would be returned, and the student then had a change of heart, both returning the psalter as well as returning to a religious life at the friary. You can create your own prayer to St. Anthony or find one that resonates with you. Here is one that speaks to my heart. “St. Anthony, perfect imitator of Jesus, who received from God the special power of restoring lost things, grant that I may find (name your lost item) which has been lost. At least restore to me peace and tranquility of mind, the loss of which has afflicted me even more than my material loss. To this favor, I ask another of you: that I may always remain in possession of the true good that is God. Let me rather lose all things than lose God, my supreme good. Let me never suffer the loss of my greatest treasure, eternal life with God. Amen.” 8. Re-trace your steps. This is a common way to find what you’ve misplaced. Begin by relaxing, maybe sitting in a comfortable chair, and close your eyes. Remember not only the last time you saw the object, but also the steps you took afterward, like going into different rooms in your house, answering the phone, or making something to eat. Often an item is put in a different place than usual, has fallen behind something or is underneath another item. by Julianne Kulosa Julianne is a Spiritual Intuitive and Guide, empowering others to live a life of miracles and magic through trusting the power of love. Many of my clients share their challenges, burdens and suffering with me, be it external or internal, from the experiences life throws at them, the internal chattering mind, physical pain, or overwhelming emotions.
Despite the situation, the question is often the same: “When will this end?!!” This might also lead to the question, “It will end right? Things will get better?” While all our challenges are unique, the nature of them is completely different than in the past. We have an opening now, a new reality to step into. In this reality, anything that we do for ourselves, we do for the entire collective on the planet, not just now, but throughout all timelines, past, present and future. How amazing is that? Can you even wrap your mind around it? Taking a traditional perspective on our pain, suffering and challenges works as well as it does. We think, “One day, when I’ve overcome or gotten rid of this problem, then I’ll be happy.” In this day and age, the problems of the world require solutions outside of our traditional thinking. I know you want reassurance that it will get better, and soon. I know it not only can, but will. However, it is you and you alone that has the choice and power to have the experience that it will, and can, get better. Yes, sure, if you’re reading this you’re looking for me to give you the answer. My answer is that YOU have the answer, the power, the strength, the courage, trust, love, breath, the soul and spirit, to have anything that you want. It is your destiny, like it or not! Why wouldn’t you like it? Because your “get better” lies in the present moment of your experience. It’s not one day – some day, when my finances are handled, I have the perfect relationship, vibrant health, ideal weight, unending positive thoughts, everlasting joy, unbridled passion, cool spiritual experiences, superpower intuition, complete freedom to be, clarity of life purpose, or “add your own here.” You were born to thrive, and born to grow, expand and learn from any experience you are having. Can you imagine a world crumbling around you, pain and suffering all around you, death, destruction, even fire and brimstone, and there you stand, in the center of it all, in peace, in trust, with an open heart and truly knowing all is well? It’s time to let go of, or at least soften our grip, on the reins of what we think reality is supposed to be, feel and look like. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is the boss of you. YOU are the master of your reality. You hold the magic wand and elixir of everlasting life. It’s YOU! How do you get to the space of remembering that? By absolutely being committed to remembering and living the truth of who you are. You are not your circumstances, your pain, or your suffering. They call you to remember, just as a nightmare screams at you to get your attention so it can share an important message. If your circumstances don’t equate to your quality of life, what does? It is your consciousness, your state of being, that determines the quality of your life. It’s each choice in action that is aligned with your soul’s calling. Oh, don’t worry, you know your soul’s calling. It calls you to love, enjoy, bless, and appreciate. The other morning, I noticed I felt anxious upon waking. I did my simple practices, such as breathing in peace and breathing out blessings of peace for all. It took just a minute, and there I was, in peace at that moment. Know that things really are intensifying. It’s not just you. Whatever is personally happening for you, you can choose to breathe and know that there is a rapidly increasing intensity of the shift happening. Fighting against it, waiting for the challenge to be over, will not speed up your personal process. Changing the way you view yourself and your life is what is called for in this moment. This is the moment you’ve been waiting for. It calls to you again and again to choose a new way of being that transforms any circumstance in your life. That way of being is one of connection, love, abundance, peace and joy. In any moment, you can choose to say, “I am committed to this shift happening inside and around me. I choose to see myself and my life as a gift, as a game, as a opportunity to cultivate a new way of being.” I know, I know, you might be thinking, “How could you possibly see your pain, frustration, financial challenges, illness, anxiety, loss, confusion, or upset in your relationships as a gift?” There are some gifts that we want, and some gifts that we need. Anything that is occurring in this moment is a gift. How can you access the gift in your situation? By ACCEPTING it. Say, “Yes, thank you for this gift!” It doesn’t mean that you have to like it, or that you’re not disappointed, or that you wouldn’t prefer to have a gift you’ve been really wanting. It does mean that you say, “I accept this gift. I know that this is what serves me most right now, as crazy as I think that may be. I trust that this gift is one that serves my absolute highest good and growth, and is more powerful than I could ever imagine.” Once the gift is accepted, it can unfold its magic and miracles. It will call you to take actions that are for your highest good and well being, and the highest good of all people everywhere. The best gifts don’t always come in pretty packages. It is your conscious choosing to see all of your experiences as a gift, with thankfulness and gratitude, with trust, that can have you stand at the center of absolute chaos and destruction and feel centered and peaceful. It’s ok that you find yourself wanting things to be different, to be better. Please take heart that you have the power to do this right now, despite any circumstance. Accepting that this moment is your greatest gift, without trying to get rid of, fix or change it, allows movement in your life. Change occurs most easily when we surrender to what is occurring right now, when we choose to believe that right now is exactly where we are supposed to, how we’re supposed to be, and are divinely destined to be. It allows us to breathe and lighten up! May you be blessed with the joy, laughter, peace, relief and love that is accessible to you at any moment. by Julianne Kulosa Julianne is a Spiritual Intuitive and Guide, empowering others to live a life of miracles and magic through trusting the power of love. We humans, with our big brains, sure do like to make things more complicated than they need to be. That’s ok, as long as you know you things can get complicated out of the desire to have an adventurous and interesting life!
Once you remember that you get to choose how complicated anything in your life is, you can then choose to simplify any situation. Simplicity brings with it a peacefulness, a satisfaction with your present moment, and a natural state of gratitude for all the “little things” life offers you to enjoy and appreciate right now. This simplicity is important in our spiritual practices. We do need to choose to be awake and live our lives consciously as souls having a human experience. Without this conscious choice, most of us operate on automatic about 90% of the time, caught in a whirlwind of tasks that don’t bring us joy and unending mental chatter that pushes us to worry, doubt, stress and think we need to work harder. Instead of making our spiritual practices yet another responsible task we should be doing, our challenge is to live in a space of remembering and embodying who we authentically are. Any practice that truly supports this is the practice for you! Admit it: you actually know who you are. Anytime you feel stress, anxiety, doubt, frustration, anger or fear, it is reminding you that you have forgotten your true nature. Not to worry, that’s the deal we made when we chose to play this game of forgetting our eternal divine nature and then remembering! So, what’s this 3-step process to living a life that you love? It’s one I highly recommend trying, even if just one day a week. 1. WASH CYCLE When it comes to washing clothes or dishes, we don’t try to “get rid of” the dirt. Within our own lives, we tend to think of things we need to get rid of, such as certain behaviors, thoughts or situations. When you wash your clothes, you simply put those dirty clothes in some water and detergent. Then you let the process occur naturally, as the water and soap clears away any dirt on the clothing. So, in our spiritual practice, we simply immerse ourselves in that cleanser and water. Choose your detergent When you wake in the morning, set your intention. Before you even get out of bed, ask yourself, “How would I like to feel today? What would I like to cultivate and embody?” These are high vibrational states of being that resonate with and exist in your true authentic nature. Declare that the intentions you make are in service to the highest and best good of yourself, the universe and all of humanity. Here are some examples: I intend I am abundant. I intend I am vibrantly healthy. I intend I am joy. I intend I am grateful. I intend all that I do is in the highest service to All. I intend I trust myself. I intend I am peace. I intend I am more loving and compassionate than ever before. I intend I am open to receive. I intend I am divinely guided. Add the detergent to the water Now that you’ve stated your intention, preferably out loud, it’s time to add that to the water, to the space of your heart. By doing so, you infuse that intention with the pure essence of your divine nature. Your job in this moment of the process is to cultivate that intention in your heart. It’s easier than you think, as natural as mixing cleanser in water. Because you ARE your intention, you can consciously BE that intention within your heart at any moment. Still in your bed in the morning, begin with the breath. Your breath is the movement of the wash cycle. Take a few natural conscious breaths and place your hands on your heart. Breathe into your heart for a few breaths. Now state your intention. Breathe in that intention. Breathe in peace. Breathe in trust. Breathe in surrender. You are unique, so how you get to that experience of embodying your intention might take some experimentation beyond the breath. For example, is there something in your space that sparks that intention, like the peacefulness of the quiet morning or the abundant possibility that a new day holds? Is there something physically in your room that you feel grateful for? Gratitude can bring you immediately to the space where all your intentions live. Is there a memory you have in which you were in the space of love, trust or vibrant well-being? Again, remember that this process is easier than you think. It can literally take just one minute. Add Your Clothing You’re in the space now of being your intention, so now any experience, thought or feeling - any clothing - can easily be added to and cleansed in the wash. Now that you are living, breathing and being the intention you’ve set in this moment, in your bed, you are ready for your day with clean clothes on. 2. RINSE CYCLE The rinse cycle is a such a magical cycle, really! You’ve infused yourself with your intention and breathing into your heart-space, and now you get to bask in the watery life-affirming flow-state of your heart, filled not just with your specific intention you’ve set, but all those yummy juicy states of being that you were born to experience. Living the life you love, loving yourself and bringing that love to all that arises! Being in your heart creates a natural clearing and cleansing of the dirt and stains, without the forced need to scrub and stress about what you want to get rid of. All you need do is allow your heart-based intention to expand its light throughout your body. There’s nothing to do. Just imagine, breathe and trust this is so. 3. REPEAT Your day contains lots of clothing that will be added to the wash again and again. Notice there is no dry cycle in this process. That’s because all there is for you to do is to put those clothes into the wash cycle. The Repeat part of the process is your most powerful spiritual practice. Throughout the day, you’ll want to check in on any dirty laundry that might be piling up. If you’re new to this, you could even set an alarm on your phone to remind you, such as once an hour or a few times throughout the day. When that alarm goes off, it’s time to check in to see if there’s a new load of laundry to do. Check-in What is my intention today and am I experiencing it now? Cultivate Your Intention Take some breaths and state your intention again. Remember, it’s just dirty laundry. The angst, problems, frustration or doubt is just a little dirty laundry that can be washed easily. Cultivate that intention in your heart just like you did in the morning, taking just a minute or so of your time. Then imagine your whole being is filled with the ever-expanding light of your heart. Remember that gratitude is one of the most powerful ingredients in your detergent. Take Action Intentions begin in ways of being in the world, in the feminine. Once we are in a state of being our intention, we then are open to seeing any actions that express that intention. This is the masculine, the “doing” part of our intention, so that we can experience the manifestation of our desires. It’s the choosing what outfit to buy, wear and what event you’re going to wear it at. Trust your heart and your intention itself to guide you easily to the actions that express that intention. If you’re finding yourself uncertain or doubting your next action, ask yourself, “Is this action an expression of my highest authentic intention?” Then return to cultivating that intention in your heart. Wash, rinse, repeat. Keep it simple, and miracles will unfold. Yep, that’s right, not only do you not need to dry your laundry, as the light of your heart will naturally do this, but you don’t need to fold it either! Bonus Cycle for that Fresh Luxurious Feel At the end of the day, when you’re relaxing and ready for bed, you might want to review the day and look for all the times your experienced the manifestation of your intention. It’s human nature to see the one stain left on that shirt after the wash. But hey, what about the sparkly clean shirt overall? Each time you wash, rinse and repeat, that shirt will get cleaner and cleaner. Your job is to notice and appreciate the clean clothes, not stress over the still-dirty ones. That’ll have you look forward to cleaning out your closet and even give your whole house a love-light wash and makeover! by Julianne Kulosa Julianne is a Spiritual Intuitive and Guide, empowering others to live a life of miracles and magic through trusting the power of love. First of all, for those of you who haven’t read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Condo, it’s time for you to pick up the book! Marie offers conscious access to one of the primary aspects of the authenticity of who we divinely are. We are joy!
It’s easy to focus on what is wrong, including around your home. You might look around and think how you need to clean, clear your clutter and get more organized. It’s natural to want to get rid of the problem that is causing upset or pain. Change is often motivated by fear, and it’s true: fear is a big motivator. However, it’s also so draining, so tiring and stressful, to continually focus on what we need to change and fix in order to feel better. Good news! There is a different way! This way is through the power of gratitude. It is the gateway to experiencing authentic joy. In her book, Marie discusses how we can let go of items that don’t spark joy by acknowledging that at some point they did, thanking them, and releasing them for someone else to enjoy. I’m sure you have items in your home that you purchased yet never used, such as clothing or books. Why did you buy these? Consider that in that moment you were in a place of joy, even if just the possibility of joy in the future. You might think, “Well, if I truly feel gratitude for an item and the joy it brought me even if it was long ago, won’t I just keep everything in my home?” Absolutely not! We hold on to things with an attitude of lack. There are two reasons we keep items that don’t bring us joy in this moment. The first reason is that we hold on to the past, as if when we let an item go, we will surely lose or forget the love, joy, peacefulness, abundance or experiences that the item represents. Personally, I am very attached to my books. If I kept all my books from over the past 25 years, I would have a room in which every wall was filled with books from top to bottom. In my most recent release of books that don’t currently bring me joy, I noticed that there were books that had been on my shelf for literally 25 years or more. I collect informative books, specifically on topics around holistic health, metaphysics, spirituality and consciousness studies. I noticed that my books are like symbols of who I am, of my interests, my experience, my passions and my knowledge. It was extremely challenging to let many of them go because I felt like I would lose a part of myself and forget all that they represented. I realized that my books are not me! Furthermore, I saw that my past has brought me to who I am now, and I can release the past, whether my memories or physical items, and know that all that matters is this present moment of my experience. My past has brought me to now, and anything I need is inside of me! When gazing at a book that didn't naturally light me up in the moment, I noticed it would seem to shout, “You are not enough right now. You might forget all the experiences and knowledge from your past, so I will remind you. You might need this book in the future. Furthermore, look what you’re not practicing or doing right now!” I held the book, reflecting on when I got it and the experiences I was having at the time, and felt authentic gratitude for those experiences and the wisdom I received from the book. This allowed me to let go of the book with love and appreciation, opening to new ideas, new experiences, and new me. The second reason we hold onto items that don’t bring us joy in this moment is because of our fears about the future. Like the past, fears of the future reflect feelings or thoughts around limitation, lack and scarcity. It could as simple as, “What if I’m having a bad hair day and don’t have anything to wear that will make me feel pretty?” (Notice that in that moment you are thinking your physical body is lacking beauty…) Fears about not measuring up might come, such as, “What if my friends thinks I’m poor, stupid or missing something by not having this item?” We might think we’re being logical and responsible by thinking, “What if I need that item again and can’t find it anywhere?” or, “What if I need that item in the future and don’t have the money to buy it?” Ooh, that last one is one the main fears of lack when it comes to material possessions, isn’t it? Furthermore, we have limited our openness to abundance by thinking that the items we need can only be attained through using our own money to purchase them. Can you see how keeping items that don’t authentically inspire joy right now creates a feeling of lack and limitation? You could have a house full of items and yet feel you never have enough. How many times have you purchased an item only to find you already have it? One day I was clearing out my first aid shelf and found that we owned seven elastic (“Ace”) bandages. Two were unopened, and I remembered buying those because I was concerned that if my son sprained his ankle (yet again), we wouldn’t have any bandages. The shelf was so cluttered and unorganized that I couldn’t find the bandages that were there all along. Keeping only what brings you joy actually creates more abundance. A great example of this is clothing. Have you ever felt like you have nothing to wear? You go through your cluttered closet and drawers, stuffed with clothing, and can’t find anything you want to wear that day. What if you truly only had items that had you feel good when you looked at and wore them? Imagine you could look in your closet and every item was something you love the idea of wearing! Material possessions don’t really bring us joy. Instead, they inspire us to express the authentic unending stream of joy that resides in us. Keeping only what inspires joy is practicing a new way of being, a way of living an authentically magical and abundant life. As you gaze around your home, every item can be something that prompts you to express gratitude. Gratitude aligns you with joy and joy aligns you with authentic divine YOU. You don’t need to “force” yourself to express gratitude or joy. Committing to surround yourself with items that have you feel good and thankful is all it takes. It’s also important to be honest with yourself about your fears, whether holding on to the nostalgia of the past or concerns about you future. A home infused with your gratitude and joy creates an opening for even more gratitude and joy. The question to ask yourself is, “If this doesn’t spark joy, why am I keeping it?” You don’t have to reflect on what you don’t like about the item. Instead, know that when you got the item it did bring you something, even if just the possibility of something, such as being prepared and calm in an emergency (those Ace Bandages), or a healthier lifestyle through those kitchen gadgets or workout equipment. Honoring that you picked and kept an item with the best of intentions will cultivate gratitude for that item and an ability to then let it go. Let’s be honest: if there is one thing we can count on, it is change. Our possessions are a way to practice being open to change, to letting go of trying to feel safe and secure in an ever-changing reality. Instead, we practice moving toward gratitude and joy, independent of what we have or don’t have right now or in the future. Your possessions are just one aspect of your life. They give you an opportunity to be honest with yourself about your fears and doubts. They also give you an opportunity to experience gratitude and tap into joy! They steer you in the direction of filling your life with joy and gratitude in all that you do, to ask yourself time and again with every aspect of your life, “If this doesn’t spark joy, why am I doing it?” You are meant to have items in your home that remind you that inside you is all the abundance, joy and love you could ever desire. These items might be beautiful or useful. You can courageously clear out the things that you’ve kept that seem to protect you from the loss of letting go of the past or fears of scarcity in your future. Opening up your physical space opens you to the vast spaciousness of your own heart, of your authentic self. No longer weighed down by material possessions that don’t activate your joy right now, you assert to the universe that you trust life to provide you with all you need. You declare that You Are Enough, You Have Enough, now and in the future. You can look around at what fills your home and let every item you use or gaze upon remind you to be truly grateful and enjoy your life right now. by Julianne Kulosa Julianne is a Spiritual Intuitive and WayShower, guiding the way to living a life of miracles and magic through trusting the power of love.
